Jonathan Stroud

Jonathan Stroud is COO and CLO at Unified Patents, overseeing legal and corporate operations with Unified Patents, with emphasis on PTAB proceedings, district court and appellate litigation, contracting, governance, and settlement negotiations. His practice bridges patent law, administrative law, and litigation finance, and he frequently teaches, speaks, consults, and writes on these topics and civil procedure.

Before joining Unified Patents, he was a patent attorney at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett and Dunner LLP, handling some of the earliest post-grant review matters after the America Invents Act. Earlier, he served as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, examining implantable medical device patents. He is widely published and recognized for scholarship.
